TARYN 

Musical Theatre After School Club Leader

 

Taryn grew up in the North East of England and started dancing at the age of 3 at her local dance school Karen Heritage Theatre Arts.

During her time with the school Taryn was lucky to perform in many pantomimes and shows across the country including performances at The Royal Albert Hall and Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London.

She also had the opportunity to teach many different styles and classes to the younger members of the school which started her love for teaching.

In 2014 Taryn went on to train at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and graduated in 2017 with a BA Honours Degree in Dance.

At her graduation Taryn received a scholarship to continue her training at the prestigious Broadway Dance Center in New York City and spent 3 months of summer living the dream, dancing in NYC.

On return to the UK Taryn secured her first professional contract as a Character and Parade Performer at Disneyland Paris, making dreams come true for a living!

This then lead to Taryn’s dream job becoming a Character and Dancer for Disney Cruise Line, getting to perform and travel the world while still making Disney magic everyday was truly the best experience of her life.

During the pandemic Taryn found her love for teaching once again and is so exciting to be joining the Star Train Academy team!
